Stoke City Football Club is a professional football club based in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire which is in the middle of England. The only major cup that Stoke have won is the league cup in 1972 when they beat Chelsea 2-1. Since then they have reached the FA Cup final 2010-11 and have won the Football League Trophy twice, 1991-92, 1999-00.
