 Who Are Ya!?

Stoke City Football Club is a professional football club based in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire which is in the middle of England. The only major cup that Stoke have won is the league cup in 1972 when they beat Chelsea 2-1. Since then they have reached the FA Cup final 2010-11 and have won the Football League Trophy twice, 1991-92, 1999-00.

Rivals – The clubs main rivals are Port Vale FC however since the clubs are in different leagues and have been for quite a few years there has been no games between them in recent years. Most recently West Bromwich Albion have been Stoke’s main rivals.

Birth of the Club – Stoke City was originally founded in 1863 as Stoke Ramblers however when Stoke-on-Trent was granted a city status in 1925 the team changed to Stoke City FC.
